QUILTS AND MORE AT THE FAIR

The Fair is over for this year, but I thought I would show you some of the items that others made.  All were enclosed in a fence so it was hard to take get good pictures.

Elmer and Anna are back from Pennsylvania and Elmer said he would get a post on this week, Lord willing.  Jean and David were taking of Elmer and Anna's farm while they were gone.

We took the three granddaughters to the fair, but somehow missed these. Thanks for sharing.

Good Morning Tom,
You are welcome. Sorry you all missed seeing it. Some of it was done by adults, and some was done by young folks.

Good Morning Jodie,
They were beautiful quilts. Wish I knew how to make quilts like your daughter in law does, but I don't know if I would have the patience.

Lots of work went into these beauties! What a gift to be able to crochet, knit, sew, and quilt like this! I hope many people will not let the heritage crafts go by the wayside, and will pass knowledge, encourage the ability and love for being able to hand make these beautiful and useful items. I don't think people in general realize how important these ways are in life.
Thanks for sharing Marilyn! Blessings, Carol

Hi Carol,
Today, I think a lot of people don't make the crafts like we use to. It is sad. So much store bought these days. Wish more people would make this beautiful work.

Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn
